A Forest in You!

You have a fantastic destiny, regardless if you are walking in it or not. Inside of you is a seed waiting to become a tree waiting to become a forest. Trees drop seeds that produce more trees. What you can do is endless and is WAY bigger than you alone. Inside you is a God size destiny. You were fashioned for greatness. God doesn't make losers, nor does He make average. Believe that God has a great future in store for you. The only thing that can sabotage that future is your doubt and unbelief.

Accept that you are great. Just go ahead and accept it. Embrace that your hands were formed to do mighty things. They can bring healing and hope. Wow! Take a look at them (mine look like my mom's!). They might be ordinary, but when God touches them they become like angel's wings to the hurting and like swords to the enemy!

You (say ME) are incredible in your very own unique way.

Know that you are loved today.

The Outsiders

Have you ever felt like an outsider? (not the old movie with Tom Cruise, but I did like that movie!) Like no matter how hard you try to penetrate the unattainable circle, it's shell just wont break? Feels kinda like high school, Lord help us!! There will always be that circle in your life, whether it be church friends, peers, work buddies, that seems in-penetrable. When you can't break through it can break down your own mental image of your worth and value. Trying to "get in" is like a rat race that will leave you tired and discouraged.

How about a change? How about let's enjoy the people God put around us that appreciate us for who we are. More importantly let's find our true value and true fulfillment in God alone. I have learned that people approval will leave us empty. I've also learned that what we make out in our minds to be true is not always. Let's get busy hearing what God has to say about us and running the race He has set for YOU!

God has a special way of taking you from an outsider to an insider!

Chew on that today.

On the Way to School

Every morning on the way to school my kids and I say a prayer that ends something like this: "We will do the right thing even when it's not popular and we will do the right thing even when no one is looking".

It is so important that we get this right because someone is always looking. With Youtube and all of our high tech cell phones you can be sure that you can be caught at any moment. I went to the gym yesterday wearing a tennis skirt and a spaghetti strap tank top that went along with it (really cute outfit I must say). I was going to attend my class I always attend full of women so I didn't mind wearing it in there but I missed the class. I ended up working out on the main floor but thankfully I kept my long sleeve tshirt on that I was wearing when I came in. I briefly thought about taking it off due to being hot but I then thought of how embarrassed I would be if a male from church would approach me. What do you know, a young man I didn't know but he knew me came over and introduced himself and told me he was getting married to someone in our church next week!

We are never really alone. Someone, if only God, is always watching. I want my life to reflect Jesus in a positive way. Several times this week I have been tempted to have bad attitudes with store clerks, nurses, etc. I keep hearing that voice in my head that says, "Represent Me". May our hearts be pure and our actions be clean so that we will not be caught in an embarrassing act that we will regret, even if it's something as simple as what we wear!

Think about it.

Relax..... Ahhh!

Jude 1, "Relax, everything's going to be alright, rest, everything's coming together, Open your hearts, Love is on its way".

Isn't that a very cool scripture? I just love it! I confess and believe it. My husband is out of town this week and when he leaves I have a tendency of getting a bit uptight. (Am I the only one girls?) I confessed before he left that my kids and I were going to have a blast! It's only been 24 hours but so far we are and I believe that we will continue to have a great time. What a scripture for me!
Relax. (If you really know me, you would know that's a hard one).
Everything's going to be alright. Do you need to hear God say that to you?
Rest. Ahhh, the fabulous feeling when someone tells you it's alright to rest!
Everything's coming together. We need not worry our little selves to death. It will all happen in God's perfect timing.
Open your hearts. Get ready to receive something great from God. Expect it today.
Love is on the its way. God is always on His way. He is never late, always on time.

Today, enjoy this fabulous scripture and let it speak hope and love to your soul.

Perfectionist??

Yes I am. I admit it. Not hard to admit but hard to fix. I can get so wound up in things being perfect that I have to back out and ask myself is it really important. Now, don't think for a moment that I think it's okay to accept mediocre. I think God deserves our best. I'm talking more about those of us who obsess over little things that in the grand scheme of things don't matter much, but to us at that moment they are HUGE!

Perfectionist, do yourself a favor and every now and then back away and try to see the whole picture. Believe me if you accept "good enough" every now and then to save yourself stress, it will be okay. The world won't come to an end and people won't look down on you, in fact, they'll think for the first time that you're actually human!!

Discipline

Not a word I like very much (nor do my kids!!) However, it's essential to any development in our life. I was at the gym this morning seriously having a "good angel" "bad angel" conversation whispered into my ears! "Go home", "No stay". Oh for me it's a love/hate affair. BUT I do it because I know nothing will change if I stay at home. Some of you are disciplined enough to get up and do your own routine, not me I have to have someone eyeing my every move making sure I'm not slacking!! :) There are other issues I'm facing in my life right now that I want to succeed at but without proper discipline I won't get there.

Come on girls, if we ever want to do something great we are going to have to do something we've never done. It might require some faithfulness and discipline on your part, but it's well worth it. By the way, I'm seeing a little shape taking to my legs!! Yay!

Purses and more purses!

Wow girls, last night was incredible!! I so enjoyed Jennifer Jensen's word and her heart. But you know what I loved most of all? Seeing the mound of women at the purse table! It stood back and took in the beautiful sight, so many ladies moved to make a difference! So thankful for all of you and what God did last night.

We spoke loudly to the enemy that we will NOT stand for injustice!

Love you, you world changers!!

Daughters

Tonight Jennifer Jensen, a missionary from India (left blonde lady in top right picture) is going to be speaking to the KPC Women/ 6:30 North Campus. She is hitting on a topic that is very dear to my heart, Human Trafficking (sex slavery). Last year I got the awesome opportunity to go to India and meet orphans and beautiful women who have been rescued from this slavery. Their faces beamed with freedom. I can't imagine their suffering as well as the children. I urge you to come tonight. We are going to have a great time. Purses and jewelry will be for sale if you are interested to buy made by hand from these rescued ladies. All proceeds go to them and the ministries who support them.

Invite friends so we can shed some light on this very dark issue.
Just imagine...... A force of Godly women gathered in NWA that unites with Godly women all over the world to help set free physically and spiritually other beautiful women that God considers His daughters. Talk about make the heart of the Father proud!!!

I believe in you! In you is a WORLD CHANGER!! Don't let Satan or anyone else tell you other wise. Any King's daughter has the ability to change the world around her both near and far!

Love you and I wait in expectation for tonight!

Hi Daughters (That's what you are to God),

It is going to be phenomenal and very enlightening!! Jennifer Jensen from Nepal is coming to speak to us about Human Trafficked girls and women. We have adorable purses and jewelry for sale made by the victims and all proceeds go to them. What a way to make an investment in eternity! And an investment in freedom!!

I really hope to see you there ladies. If there is ever an issue dear to my heart it's this one! Invite tons of friends and see you this Monday night to make an impact in God's Kingdom and the lives of His daughters!
For the girls,

Hello Monday!

Well, this morning I'm tired on the outside but pumped on the inside. God showed up all around the globe for Easter in huge ways. I've heard reports from our friends all over at the record number of attendance this year. It seems that Christ followers are still on the rise!! Go Jesus!

I can't wait to see what God does this year in our church and in the lives of those expecting great things. Yes, I said those expecting great things. Our faith and expectancy is God's doorway to move in our life. Are you lacking? Have you asked lately? Envision your life going in positive directions. Envision you doing more than you could ever dream or imagine for God. If you don't see it, then you won't ask for it. If you don't ask for it, you will never receive it. Yesterday God was challenging my capacity to envision large things. There are alot of souls to be saved on this earth... billions to be exact. It's going to take large capacity believers to catch that harvest! God wants to use you! Just believe Him for it.

On this rainy Monday, dream outside the box and watch what happens.
P.S. You better buckle up, God is sure to take you on the ride of your life!

Keypoint Church services will be great and lots of fun for kiddos! I can't wait to see all the great families in NWA there.
He is risen!!

Crazy Love

What an amazing time to be alive this weekend as we celebrate the cross! All my life I served God, but at the end of my 8th grade year I really became on fire for Him. I got involved in my local youth ministry and my relationship with God deepened in an incredible way. For that I am ETERNALLY, ETERNALLY grateful!! His presence changed my life and it's so addicting I don't want to even imagine what it would be like living a day without it.

I am so thankful for Christ's suffering and the redemption, freedom and healing it brought me. This weekend I pray every church in America that truly loves God would stand up and say, "We are a Christian nation"! I urge you to bring your friends to church so they have an opportunity to hear His life giving message. This message and only this will truly change a life!

This weekend Keypoint Church will be full of life and celebration. Don't miss it, it's your chance to show the world that you are thankful for what Christ did!

John 10:10
"... I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full".

From a grateful heart I want to say thank you Jesus!

Organize

When your brain is cloudy that may be a sign to organize. I don't necessarily mean, your cabinets. It could be just organizing your thoughts and making goals on the things you want to get better at. I found in my most overwhelming days if I can just organize a bit then I'm not so stressed and things don't seem so daunting.

Just a thought. For me, it's one of those days.

I was Scared to Death!

When Casey, my husband, and I first planted our church four years ago I was scared to death to speak in public. I don't know if it was just stage fright or the expectations people had of me as a pastor's wife or just both combined. Our first Women's Luncheon consisted of 20 people. I shared a small word and nearly had a panic attack. That fear was so intense it easily could have paralyzed me speaking publicly forever. I knew deep down that speaking was part of my destiny so I had to do everything I could to break out of this fear. I forced myself to take every opportunity I had even though I was literally shaking in my boots!

Now four years later I actually enjoy speaking. I've preached at our Sunday morning services and get up every Sunday to share a small word with the people. I love speaking at our Women's events and really any avenue I can. Take note that this doesn't mean I don't deal with fear. Believe me, the first Sunday I got on stage I had to focus on what I was saying to not spiral into panic!! :) What that means is if you know God is asking you to step out, step out in fear. Just force yourself to trust Him. He will pick up your slack and most of all EMPOWER you to do what it is He has called you to do!

Deut. 31:6
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified of them (your enemy), for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you."

I believe in you and HE believes in you!

Hayes' B-day

Hey girls,
Tonight is Hayes' 8th B-day. I am going to spend time with him so I won't be thinking up something to write in my blog. I hope you spend time with your family (or someone you can pour into) tonight as well.

It is well worth the investment.
See you tomorrow.

Brussel Sprouts

Tonight I cooked Brussel Sprouts for the first time. Don't know yet if my kids will like them, but surprisingly they were good! I must admit, I'm shocked!! To think all these years I've been missing out on brussel sprouts because I was too afraid to try them! :)

What in your life are you missing out on because you're too afraid to step out? Think about it. There could be something great hidden behind your fear.

Don't be afraid to climb out onto the branch, after all that is where the fruit is. The base of the tree is much more stable but sure doesn't taste as good.

Get out there girls!

Nothing Speaks Louder

"I know that you are for me, I know that you will never forsake me in my weakness. I know that you have come now even if to write upon my heart - to remind me that I know that you are for me...." Kari Jobe

Someone needs to hear that today. He IS for you! He will NEVER forsake you in your weakness. Picture the cross with your broken Savior hanging on it with Him speaking these words to you.

Nothing speaks louder.

Believe it today.
